'Soribada Awards', a festival which cheer with everyone through music...BTS receiving a total of 3 awards

'2018 Soribada Best K-Music Awards' receiving support from the K-pop fans all around the world and won the title of the best 'Korean-wave festival'.

'2018 Soribada Best K-Music Awards (2018 SOBA)', which is organized and hosted by 'Korean representative music platform' Soribada, was held at Olympic Gymnastics Arena located in the Songpa District on 30 August (Thursday) at 6: 25p.m.

Korean representative comedian couple Kim Won-hyo and Sim Jinhwa took up the role of MC for the blue carpet before the event, and they lightened the atmosphere through communication with the artists, the prize presenters, and the audiences.

Broadcaster Han Suk-joon and singer and actress Son Dam-bi took up the role of the MC for the prize awards ceremony, and one of the trendiest boy group Wanna One took on the first stage and presented their song 'Boomerang'. A total of approximately 30 teams of global artists from the different generation and genres presented their performances which ran about 210 minutes. The spotlight went to BTS and they performed their hit song 'Fake Love' as the encore performance for the awards ceremony.

SOBA bonsang was presented to a total of 11 teams of artists who received lots of love for their music throughout the year, and these artists are Wanna One, Mamamoo, NCT 127, Bolbbalgan4, Twice, NU'EST W, Momoland, Monsta X, AOA, Red Velvet and BTS.

The producer award was present to composer and producer Kim Do Hoon who has worked on the work of various artists such as Wheesung 'With Me', Soyou and Junggigo 'Some', Mamamoo 'Egotistic', etc. The music video producer was given to Hong Won Ki who has produced music videos for various artists such as Girls' Generation, EXO, BTS, and has recently produced the music video of Hong Jin-young 'Goodbye'.

The Rookie Awards were presented to The Boys who always presented their performance in a splendid way, Stray Kids who received recognition for their talent in their self-composed songs, Nature who is known as the next rising star for the Korean wave and IZ, the next generation band who is known for their outstanding visual.

Kangnam who took on the challenges of songs from the different genres and Seol Ha Yoon who showed her energetic self through her trot songs were presented with the Trot Rookie Award. Samuel and DIA who always brought along their stages in an unique way, won the Performance Award, and Trot Star Award was given to Tae Jin Ah and Hong Jin Young who received lots of love for their trot performances.  

The Voice Award was presented to Wheesung and GB9 who always brought emotions to listeners with their performances, and the Social Voice Award was presented to the sentimental diva Seo J. Song Mino from Winner who received lots of love as a hip-hop artist was presented the Hip-Hop Artist Award. Seo In Young who has always received support and love for her music was presented with the Queen of Trend Award. NU'EST W not only received the bonsang but also the Icon Award, Hyeongseop x Euiwoong and YDPP received the Rising Hot Star Award, anticipating their future.

Crush, a trendy soundtrack player won the R&B Artist Award, Chungha, and UNB who always show their outstanding performance with their perfect vocal were presented the Music Star Award. 7SENSES, a representative girl group from China and is planning to carry out activities in Korea, is presented with the Overseas Entertainer Award. Red Velvet who possess outstanding visuals, and showing their charisma through their splendid performance and Monsta X who always presented their best through their powerful performances won the Artist Award.

The Netizen Popularity Award which was determined based on the votes of the netizens was presented to EXO, the group which is taking the lead in the Korean wave. The Best OST Award was won by Jeong Se-woon who sang the OST for the drama 'What's Wrong with Secretary Kim'. The Female and Male Artist Popularity Award were given to the artists who gained attention in the various fields including the music chart, were won by Mamamoo and Wanna One respectively.

For every song that they released, they dominated the music chart with their addictive melody and lyrics, Twice were presented the Digital Daesang and won their second award. After the Bonsang, group BTS also won the World Social Artist Award as well as the Soribada Daesang, receiving a total of 3 awards, receiving recognition as the world crush idol.

'2018 SOBA' was viewed by a numerous of audience at the awards ceremony venue and through live broadcast at home. Actors Oh Yeon-seo, Lee Ji-hoon, Lee Si-young, Shin Hyun-soo, Jeong Ga-eun, Son Yeo-Eun, Ko Sung-hee, Seo Ji-seok, Han Yeong, On Joo-wan, Hahm Eun-jung, Jeong Da-bin, announcer Choi Hee, broadcaster Sam Okyere, youth farmer Han Taeung attended the ceremony as the prize presenter, increasing the anticipation for the ceremony.

'2018 SOBA', the first music awards ceremony in the second half of the year, and the slogan for '2018 SOBA' is 'Make It Wave', a festival which is attended by top artists and communicating with the audience through music, has became a true music festival for the fans.

The awards ceremony was broadcast live on SBS funE, SBS MTV and online channel CeluvTV. It was organized by Korea's biggest Korean Wave agency, YJ Partners (representative: Lee Yeong-ju) and the security of the site will be taken care of by Topguard (representative: Chae Kyu-chil).

'2018 Soribada最佳音乐大奖'获得了全世界K-pop粉丝的应援并赢得了'韩流庆典'的封号。

'韩国代表性的音乐平台'Soribada所举办的'2018 Soribada最佳音乐大奖 (2018 SOBA)'颁奖典礼于8月30日(星期四)的下午6点25分，在松坡区的奥林匹克体操竞技场里举行。

韩国代表性谐星夫妇Kim Won-hyo和Sim Jinhwa担任了蓝地毯的主持人， 并通过和出席艺人、 颁奖人和现场的观众的沟通， 将现场的气氛带热。

广播员韩锡俊和歌手兼演员孙淡妃担任了颁奖典礼的主持人， 而大势男子团体之一的Wanna One被交托了开场表演并且表演了他们的歌曲'Boomerang'。 大约30组来自不同世代和音乐风格的国际艺人在当天呈现了他们的华丽舞台， 全场大约210分钟。 典礼当天的关注毫无疑问的被防弹少年团夺下， 并且以他们的主打歌曲'Fake Love'为结束舞台。

大势音乐强者Crush赢得了新韩流R&B艺人奖， 经常展现完美歌唱实力的请夏和UNB获得了新韩流Music Star。中国代表女子组合 并且计划在韩国展开活动的7SENSES获得了新韩流海外艺人奖。 新韩流Artist奖被颁发给拥有出色容貌并通过表演展现魅力的Red Velvet和经常带来强劲舞台的Monsta X。

由大众所投票而选出的新韩流网络人气赏被颁发给带领韩流的组合EXO。 新韩流OST奖由演唱连续剧'金秘书为何那样'OST的郑世云赢得。 新韩流女子人气奖和新韩流男子人气奖则是由在各个领域包含音乐排行榜获得瞩目和引起话题的Mamamoo和Wanna One获得。

每当发行新歌都会以中毒性的旋律和歌词登上音乐排行榜的Twice获得音源大赏， 也赢得了她们的第二个奖项。 本赏之后， 组合防弹少年团也赢得了新韩流World Social Artist奖和SORIBADA大赏, 成为了颁奖典礼上的三冠王， 也印证了他们为国际之星。

大批的观众通过现场和在家收看了今年'2018 SOBA'的现场直播。 演员吴涟序、 李知勋、 李是英、 申譞洙、 郑佳恩、 孙汝恩、 高圣熙、 徐智锡、 韩英、 温朱莞、 咸𤨒晶、 郑多彬、 广播人Choi Hee、Sam Okyere和少年农夫Han Taeung以颁奖人出席了典礼， 增加了对于颁奖典礼的期待。

'2018 SOBA', 今年下半年的首个音乐颁奖典礼，口号为'Make It Wave'， 韩国顶级艺人出席的典礼， 并通过音乐和观众沟通， 也成为了一场真正的音乐庆典。

颁奖典礼通过SBS funE、SBS MTV在线网络CeluvTV直播，由韩国最大经纪代理公司YJ PARTNERS举办， 而场地的安全措施将由Topguard (代表: Chae Kyu-chil)负责。
